Implementation Specialist Career Information
Overview:
The Implementation Specialist, (IS), will train with CQI to gain expert knowledge of the CARE TRACKER applications. The (IS) will work with the Sales Staff, Customer Support Staff and Programming Staff at CQI to coordinate training for new users and existing users of the CARE TRACKER software applications.
Job Description:
Primary:
- The (IS) will work with Hospital customers to plan software implementations, travel and training schedules and telephone support functions. The (IS) will put together training materials, (course schedules, course syllabus, instruction manuals, PowerPoint presentations, etc.), to be use in conjunction with on-site and remote training sessions.
- The (IS) will be required to plan and execute travel to hospital sites. The (IS) will provide classroom style and one-on-one training in the use of the CARE TRACKER applications. The (IS) will be required to work closely and effectively with the Administrative Team, Department Directors and Clinical Personnel at the Hospitals.
- The (IS) will be required to provide site visit follow-up letters that detail the progress made during the on-site visit and an action plan of tasks to be accomplished prior to the next on-site visit. The (IS) will be required to provide regular briefings to CQI management regarding problems, successes and status of the implementation.
- The (IS) will become “the face” of CQI to our customers after the sales process and will be required to act with professionalism and courtesy in all dealings with the customer.
Secondary:
- During work with the end users the (IS) may identify specific areas to enhance the software product(s) or delivery of training/ support services. Communication with CQI management regarding the specific features, functions and/or services to be added should be well thought out and should be accompanied by the projected benefits (to the customer or to CQI) that might be reasonably expected.
- Trade show / User Group participation may be required as availability dictates.
Candidate Requirements:
- Registered Nurse
- Excellent Communication Skills, (verbal & written)
- Excellent Organizational Skills and Task Management
- Teaching Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years Operating Room Experience
- Ability to travel 60% to 70%
- Experience in using an electronic Operating Room Management System
- Proven Computer Skills with the following applications:
